Incomplete: If spotting continues four weeks after removal of a polyp, there is a likelihood that the polyp removal was not entirely successful. There should have been a follow up visit with the doctor, who performed the polyp removal, at which time the results of the tissue analysis should have been discussed, as well as a return visit should have been scheduled in case there is continuous bleeding/spotting
