CVD Risk Factors : Male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) or hair loss from the vertex and/or frontal region of the scalp, has been found to have a relationship w/ heart disease. However, this is not in keeping w/ the evolutionary theory that females tend to be more attracted to bald males. Majority of centenarians are bald suggesting genetics, healthy diet, exercise & good sense of humor are more important.

Probably.: Men with a thinning crown and a receding hairline have an increased risk of developing heart disease; and the younger you are when you first began to shed significant hair and the greater extent of the baldness, the higher the risk. But we don't yet know what exactly the link is between the two; so you should concentrate on factors you can control, such as exercising and eating a healthy diet.
