I just took 5 immodium and my diarrhea won't stop, i have to travel 3.5 hours, will i be okay if i take one lomotil?

Diarrhea treatment: Imodium is the generic name of lomotil. They are exactly the same thing. Now as to what is causing your diarrhea. I am not sure, but you should be seen by a sharp internist and sit down with him/her and give a good history and a good physical and some appropriate lab work.
