My husband has had an increase of swelling in his one leg mainly calf and some red blotches in it and some more cramping, at what point do we see a do?

Leg swelling: Could be a few things including a muscle injury, infection, or a clot- a deep vein thrombosis. Are there other symptoms and would need to consider medications and medical conditions the patient has.
