I have been diagnosed with ocpd, gad and have had life long premature ejaculation. i always have a very negative reaction to ssris and have recently been prescribed lamictal by my pcp and buspirone by a psychiatrist. looking for a second opinion.

Premature: Ejaculation is sometimes called ill-timed ejaculation. It is a subjective evaluation. You may orgasm too quickly and not satisfy your partner. If you have concerns you can see your doc or a licensed sex therapist. It is not an illness. Peace and good health. Don't rely on medication alone.. Anxiety Treatment: I am not sure why the Lamictal is being prescribed. BusPar does help with anxiety conditions, but it takes a few weeks to actually work. Viibryd (vilazodone) is another option (once a day dosing). As mentioned earlier, counseling is the gold standard for the premature ejaculation.
