UR gallbladder: A long history of right sided upper abdominal pain should make a search for stones in gb mandatory even it is just for such a short time. If the pain occurs during physical activity it is called "stitch" or exercise related transient abdominal pain (ertap). It can be on the right or left side and is a benign condition of unknown origin.
