Ignore it and see: If you're otherwise well and there is no fever/chills/redness, or changes in bowel function, then funny sensations of tightness around your belly button is probably nothing to worry about. Our body is constantly creating unusual sensations that come and go. Just let go and don't pay attention to it for a few days and see what you feel.

You may have: pulled one of your rectus abdominis muscles on the front side of your belly. Or you may have some inflammation or infection of the belly button, but that is usually accompanied by heat, pain and swelling of the belly button itself. Or like you say it may anxiety related, though it is more common to have shortness of breath, chest pains or stomach cramps with anxiety.
