I have itching at the bottom of my feet. no other symptoms. what's the possibility of it being caused by a major health issue?

Likely not serious: Most common cause athletes foot, or tinea pedis. If there is associated odor or small "pits" in the skin it could be pitted keratolysis. Overall, I highly doubt any serious health issue. If it persists after simple over the counter treatments, then I would consult a posiatrist or dermatologist.
