Keep an eye on it: The possibility (differential diagnosis) and clinical implications for ovarian cysts change with a woman's age. For someone young the nodule is more likely benign (like part of a dermoid cyst) than when someone is older where such a nodule can make it more worrisome for cancer, though nothing is 100%. Also, the size of the cyst (if >4-5cm) can be associated with torsion (surgical emergency)
