Hard to know : This site features docs primarily in the US & what is available OTC in your country is not clear. Here a purple dye called gentian violet is available OTC for thrush. It is effective but a terrible mess if it gets on your skin or clothes. A call to the kids doc may find them willing to call in nystatin solution that works as well but is not a mess.
