Ulcer cleaning.: If you have an infected venous stasis ulcer and associated pus and cellulitis then you need to have this treated as soon as possible. The ulcer requires cleaning (debriding) and wound care and the infection requires antibiotics. Following this, the source of the venous ulcer needs to be addressed as well as the the underlying venous insufficiency.
