No need: Oral HPV testing is not recommended if there are no symptoms to suggest oral infection, e.g. oral warts or if a doctor or dentist sees an abnormality that suggests HPV. Despite media attention, oral cancer due to HPV remains uncommon. There is no treatment for asymptomatic oral HPV, so testing does not reduce the risk of cancer. All true even for people who frequently perform oral sex.
