You don't tell us: whether you are being treated for HIV infection, but I presume you are. The most worrisome thing, though it is associated with AIDS, not just HIV infection, would be Kaposi sarcoma, a serious skin cancer. More likely this is purpura which results when small blood vessels burst and blood pools under the skin. Clotting disorders, including low platelets, need to be excluded.Discuss with HIV Doc.
