Teething/AGE: Often when teething occurs, the babies are susceptible to getting ill also, i.e. viral gastroenteritis (viral stomach flu) with diarrhea/vomiting. The treatment is clear liquid diet i.e. pedialyte, jello, soup and no milk diet (lactose free). Tylenol can be given every 4 hrs for teething pain. Usually eruption occurs at ~ 10 months on average.
