Try other sunscreen: You don't specify the chemical, but it may have destroyed some of your pigment-producing cells, making that area more prone to sun damage. Find a sunscreen that doesn't break you out (there are plenty of choices), and apply Hydrocortisone cream (available otc) at the same time. Or just cover the affected area with clothing. Or both.
