Fluids/monitor: The primary goal is preserving hydration while hoping for firmer stools. Apple sauce, fresh bananas & rice cereal in small (tablespoon) amounts can help slow stools naturally. Pureed vegetables and steamed rice can add energy as his appetite returns. Steamed macaroni without sauce is also well tolerated.As long as you have a wet every 6 hours, you can handle it at home.
