Cold- first 24-48 hr: followed by local heat plus BioFreeze and Advil or Aleve if not allergic to NSAIDS. If not relieved, get examined.

Shoulder : Rest , Ice and pain killers can be tried but if it doesn't improve then see doctor for examination and further management
