Doubtful: PMR usually responds beautifully to prednisone therapy. I doubt that either arava or prednisone are the cause of albuminuria or hypogammaglobulinemia. Perhaps an evaluation by a nephrologist is in order but your rheumatologist can better advise you on this matter. Your pharmacist may be able to obtain more information about whether arava can produce kidney damage.
