A member asked:

If my bac is at a .27 three hours after an arrest, what would the initial bac have been before or at the time of the arrest three hours prior to the b?

Assuming...: You are a long term alcoholic b/c you are still functional at these levels. You burn about .020 per hour after you stop drinking so 3 hours earlier you were roughly in the .33 range where most non alcoholics would be dead. You need help as you are killing yourself and are probably still driving and going to kill others.

You calculate it: Hey, I am sorry that this happened and I am glad you were not physically hurt. Blood alcohol drops .012 to .025 or so per hour.
