Interesting. Possble: There's a 1984 study in which pts w/ & w/o migraines were checked for mitral valve prolapse (MVP). I admit, it isn't the best type of data, but it may be informative. The results surprised me: pts w/ migraines were ~2x as likely to have MVP as those without. Authors suspected the reason is that serotonin is released from platelets as they go across the valve. So, it's possible. Needs more research
