The tingling and: numbness are typical symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, cooling less so. It's usually burning. Peripheral neuropathy occurs as a result of nerve damage caused by injury or an underlying medical disorder. Diabetes IS one of the most common causes but the condition can also result from vitamin deficiencies, metabolic problems, liver/kidney disease, infections, toxins, inheritance! Not cholesterol.
