A member asked:

Does bile reflux create burning sensations like acid reflux? or no sensations at all?

Bile reflux: Bile reflux can cause symptoms similar to acid reflux, but the usual medications like prilosec or zantac are not usually effective unless there is associated acid reflux which occasionally happens. A gastroenterologist is best qualified to evaluate you for bile reflux and may prescribe certain medications specifically for it to promote smoother bile flow or binders of bile.

Can be similar: You need to see a doctor for specific diagnosis and advice pertaining to your particular individual situation.
