Excellent question: and the answer is NO the H-2 blockers will not help hoarseness, sore throat or swelling of the larynx because THERE ARE NO H-2 RECEPTORS in those organs! H-2 blockers are located in the STOMACH and LOWER ESOPHAGUS, Hope that answers the question Dr Z
