I have all the symptoms of a neuroma but mri is normal. my 4th toe feels broken l can't stand longer than 5mins without being in pain. gp no idea

Neuritis.: Having all the symptoms of a neuroma is certainly a good reason to believe that a nerve is involved to some extent. There is other information that be gleaned from a directed physical examination which may help in explaining just where the pain is originating. Perhaps a steroid anesthetic injection may help isolate the area in question as well as help abate the symptoms. It seems reasonable.
