Neuritis.: Having all the symptoms of a neuroma is certainly a good reason to believe that a nerve is involved to some extent. There is other information that be gleaned from a directed physical examination which may help in explaining just where the pain is originating. Perhaps a steroid anesthetic injection may help isolate the area in question as well as help abate the symptoms. It seems reasonable.
