Depends on findings.: Because there has been a "hole" put in during artery access, he cannot lift over 10 lbs for a week, so that the arteriotomy site can heal. Since this is a scheduled procedure, rather than a hospital admission for a heart attack or similar acute status, if needs to be stented, may be on limited work for the first weeks, depending on severity. Bypass surgery would have extended recovery, up to 3mo.
