Is benzoyl peroxide 5% photosensitive? should i use it only at night ?

Yes and no.: Benzoyl peroxide can cause photosensitivity, but that doesn't mean you're restricted to using it at night. Apply a good broad-spectrum sunscreen (spf 30 or higher) every morning, and limit yourself to a sensible amount of sun exposure. And you'll want to stay out of tanning beds as well.
