A member asked:

Postmenopausal and never had kids, is vaginal laxity normal or beginning of a prolapse. not protrudes but i can see my walls when i look standing up.

Normal aging process: Due to decrease in estrogen, the estrogen-dependent vaginal tissues will begin to atrophy. The vulva will thin and the vaginal mucosa will lose elasticity and rugal folds and natural lubrication will diminish. Sexual activity may become uncomfortable or even painful. Good lubricants can be obtained over-the-counter to help. Some physicians still offer hormone therapy to delay onset of atrophy
