Longer healing time: Wrist sprains, depending on their severity, can require weeks to months of healing time. If your symptoms persist, then make sure to see a physician for an examination, x-rays and treatment advice. For now, continue to rest the wrist, consider wearing the splint for at least a week and take analgesics as needed. If I can help, then join my care team at www.healthtap.com/dr-clarkeholmes
