More than a sprain?: What your are experiencing may be more than a simple sprain. A simple sprain should have healed by now if treated properly. An occult fracture is unlikely but may need to be assessed for. Damage to the deeper ligaments of the wrist may also explain these symptoms and can be evaluated for by your doctor or hand specialist. Night time Night time wrist stabilizer splints may be helpful
