Laetrile?: Laetrile is also called B17, and is sold to patients who are trying to treat their cancers... but laetrile does not work. That said, the people who are selling laetrile are very happy that some patients are still buying their stuff, and the sellers have lots of stories to tell to encourage patients to buy it. A patient can talk with her oncologist before spending time or money on false treatments.

I'm sorry twice: I'm sorry that you have small-cell and hope you get the initial good response to conventional chemotherapy that almost everyone else with this grim disease gets. I'm also sorry that you spent money on the cruellest, most cynical cancer fraud of all time -- you rewarded crooks who played on your desperation. Complementary medicine offers some comfort treatments -- laetrile offers nothing.
