Ct scan said the parameters were 120kv and 80ma on the chest, would this be low dose ct or do these readings have no relationship to the dose? thanks

Need exposure time: To determine the CT "dose", you have to know these parameters (kV, ma) ALONG WITH the exposure time in milliseconds (if it is listed) & the body weight. Alternatively, sometimes the CT scan reports how many Sieverts (Sv) or milliSieverts (mSv) or even how many Gray (Gy) or centiGray (cGy) was given. The latter two (Gy / Sv) is the radiation dose or radiation Dose equivalent in man (REM).
