Excess Flatulence: Excess gas (flatulence) is usually caused by over ingestion of air (chewing gum, carbonated drinks, swallowing), malabsorption (this includes "diet" drinks and food!), IBS and motility disorders. Less likely are infectious causes or obstructions. You can try otc medications like gas-x, but altering your diet is step 1.
