It's safe.: However, it is unlikely to be very effective for the symptoms you describe, and it can absorb other nutrients you need rather than letting your body absorb and use them. Activated charcoal is used to help certain types of poisonings but there is no evidence that over the counter activated charcoal supplements help any other specific medical problem. See a doctor about your problem.
