NaSal congestion: My Inez has quafenisen and sudafed in it. The guiafenisen is going to mobilize your secretions. The sudafed will dry you up. Either one would be fine. Good luck and feel better!

You can take both: As they act differently, Sudafed (pseudoephedrine), is a eegongestant, reduces nasal or sinuses stuffiness. While Mucinex(guaifenesin) loosens the secretions to help expel them. There is a combo preparation: Mucinex D, but may require a prescription in some states. At any rate , read the labels carefully if you use OTC medications (avoid sudafed if hypertensive) see your doctor if no improvement
