Foot pain: Since you injured this 5 weeks ago it should have healed by now. You are describing symptoms that may suggest early CRPS. PLease seek treatment with a qualified Pain Doctor.

Followup: There are a number of possibilities. If you are still Having trouble, you might want to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon for an exam and further studies. A stress fracture is just one possibility, and it often does not show up on an initial X-ray. A neuroma is another possibility. A detailed exam would give a good indication of the most likely cause.
