Hello. i was just infected with trichomoniasis by my husband. he states he got it from receiving oral sex. is this possible?

Not likely: Trichomonas does not infect the oral cavity, so rarely if ever caught by oral sex. Trich can be carried for years in the vagina and probably in men's genital tract, sometimes diagnosed long after catching it. You may never know when and where you got it. The important thing is both you and husband need treatment. Also test for gonorrhea & chlamydia, which often go along with trich. Good luck!
