Wound care: Facial scratches tend to heal quickly since the blood supply to this area is so good. Try to avoid letting it scab, as this causes more scarring. Vaseline is a good choice to keep the wound moist and allow the edges of the skin to come together. If you are worried about infection, then bacitracin (not Neosporin) would be a good choice. Apply an ointment 2 times/day for 3-7 days or until healed.
