Alcohol in urine: Urine "alcohol" tests detect alcohol breakdown products in the urine for about 80 hours after drinking alcohol. Hepatitis C tends to cause liver damage and would be expected to slow the body's ability to get rid of the alcohol. This suggests that it would take longer for the test to be negative. However, I cannot find any medical literature that tells how much longer the test would be positive.

Not generally: However, if hepatitis C is in its later stages where it is causing significant damage to the liver's ability to metabolize alcohol, alcohol levels may remain higher than they usually would be. But in most people, it will not make much of a difference. Very little alcohol is excreted in urine, particularly in experienced drinkers. What is now measured are metabolites like ethyl glucuronide (Et-G)
