Get a medical check: Pain in abdomen can be caused by one of many causes some of them can be serious. So if the pain is persisting, you should get a medical examination done from your PCP. If you have cough or fever, get your lungs checked also. A plain chest X-ray can show a pneumonia which can causes upper abdominal(referred) pain
