My daughter's weight is increasing day by day. she is 14 yrs old her weight is 71 height approx 4.8. her menses are irregular. she is living with pcod?

Talk to Pediatric MD: Many Pediatricians continue to see adolescents through the 14 year old age bracket. However, a GYN MD who sees 14 year olds is an alternative choice to discuss PCOS with him/her. Weight gain with PCOS is common and increases the risk for insulin insensitivity (Diabetes) later in life. As a mother, you are the Captain of your 14 year old daughter's health, so "start sailing that ship".
