Use anything: It doesn't matter what you use as long as it is reasonably clean. It is always a good idea to have water of equal osmotic pressure to that of blood to make it more tolerable. You can do that by adding table salt to it

Distilled water: Store brand distilled water is safe for using in a Neti Pot. It is safer than boiling water at home and putting into a jug.
