It will probably: continue to improve and ultimately go away on its own. Don't apply anything except water. I would think you can continue to observe without seeing your Doctor as long as it does continue to improve. If you develop any vaginal discharge or urinary symptoms (urgency, frequency, pain with urination), or if it doesn't continue to improve, see your Doctor. Good wishes:)
