A member asked:

Why do i have mild sciatica tingling for 4 years ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Something rubbing: The sciatic nerve comes out the back, between the vertebral structure, perforates the piriformis muscle, and then on down the leg. Anything that rubs the nerve irritates it and give the numb feeling, like hitting your funny bone. It can be a disc, or ligament, or spasm of the piriformis. If you are loosing feeling, strength, or bladder control, you need to get it checked by a doctor.
