Probably OK: A nasogastric tube is usually placed in the stomach either to add fluids or to remove fluids. There are special tubes designed to through the stomach into the intestine for feeding purposes, so if the nasogastric tube goes too far, that's not a problem. However, if the tube does not allow suction, it should be pulled back into the stomach.
