Nexplanon: The most common side effect of Nexplanon is irregular bleeding. Your doctor should have discussed this with you prior to insertion. Some women will naturally resume their regular cycles done won't. Your doctor might be able to prescribe some medication to help if it doesn't get better. It's not dangerous just annoying
