Metronidazole dose: You took quite a large dose of metronidazole, so the side effects are magnified. Luckily the half-life of the drug is 8 hrs or so, so it should be clearing out of your system in a day or slightly longer... (in 8 hours, half of the drug will be gone, then in 16 hours half of that...so soon it will be gone). You should tell your doctor about it, so they know next time when trying to treat you.
