A member asked:

Should i worry about a mass which is 22mm by 16mm when the thyroid is normal.the mass has grown by 4 mm in 6months.and have a new heterogeneous nodul?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biopsy: If your nodules have grown that much they need to be biopsied. You also should be on replacement brand name T4 to reduce the stimulation to thyroid and nodule enlargement. If you had half your thyroid removed because it was having trouble and forming nodules, removal of one half of it only made your thyroid's job more difficult and problem with accelerate without replacement.
