Give tylenol: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is generally OK in acute gastroenteritis (stomach flu). It can be given by mouth or by rectal suppository (from a doctor's prescription) to help fever and aches. It does not generally upset the stomach. I recommend giving it. If you think your son is getting significantly dehydrated at any point, take him in immediately.
