What causes yellow/brown mucus to come out of rectum when passing wind or doing a poop? 12 year old with either/or symptom for a few days, diet hasn't changed, occasional lower tummy cramp but otherwise well. Not linked to period.
What could cause a 12 year old to have obvious brownish mucus alongside her poop. Also had one incident when the mucus passed with no poop. Occasional tummy cramp put down to age by doc as 1st period came soon after. Eating as normal. ?
