I have hashimoto hypo. however, my tsh has been normal after 8 tests. i take levo 25 mcg. my doc wants to take me off levo. what should i do?

Depends: Your thyroid level may be normal only because you're on replacement. If that's the case you'll need it for life. You can try a couple of months without it, but when your TSH goes back up you'll just need to restart it. Make sure, however, that you take brand name replacement, as the generics are cheap, but variable and unreliable.
